I received this call a few minutes ago. It is a pre recorded call from someone claiming to be from Revenue Canada and that I should not ignore this call. Something about appearing in front of a magistrate and let us help you help yourself ...This is a fraudulent call, do not call back.

CRA Scam, I hung up right away

This has been the second message and when I called them back they wanted my name which I didn't give

CRA Scam, Left a message with the above number to call him back. Erased.

Call said was 'Magistrate Judge, of grand jury for the federal criminal office. The number to reach us 2262130652. I would like to you cooperate with us to help us to help you.'

The public has been warned about calls representing the Canada Revenue Agency. This East Indian male left this phone # to tell me that I was going to have to appear in front of a 'magistrate.' He left this # to call him back. This is an absolute fraud and I am going to report the call to the RCMP. BEWARE

Claiming to be CRA

I believe it was a registered recording because it was cut off at the beginning A message was left twice in 2 or 3 weeks. They said it was the federal court and o had to call regarding jury duty.

Do not call the number back - it is a scammer

Very hard to understand his accent but he said something like, it was 'majestic court' or something like that and said I should call them to 'let us help you'. NO court would ever call and/or leave a message for something of any sort. This was on July 10th at 11:56 am. I have the message saved.

Just got the same call with the recording of a man that has an Indian voice claiming to be from the Canadian Revenue Agency. The CRA would never try to reach us this way. With the number of people reporting the same issue, I am sure it is a SCAM.

How do you stop these callers!!

I also believe it is a recording as the first message I received was cut off. The second message left was longer in length and said he was from the federal court and I needed to appear in front of a grand jury and asked me to call him back.

Called to inform that I would have appear before a magistrate if I did not return this call.Returned the call. Was informed that I was to receive a tax refund.In order to receive my refund. I was requested to immediately proceed to the nearest Walmart and purchase a 100 dollars debit card from Western Union. They were gonna provide me with a 'reference number'. That's when I questioned who they really were...

CRA call1-226-213-0652called july 10 and july 11to BC number

Caller said he was reprenting revenu canada and wanted me to call 226-213-0652.

Caller with Indian accent states that he is calling from the federal criminal office and left a message to be called back at this number.

We called and spoke to an Officer Smith who has a warrant for your arrest, with the Revenue Tax agency. Calling cell phone numbers.

I just got the same call. It looks like July 10th is a busy day for this scammer. Don't be fooled. The CRA would never leave a message like this.

Scam Robo all. East Indian male claims I owe money to the CRA and that the case is before a grand jury. To. All so they 'help us help you'. I called back just to see what happens and it's a generic voice message.

I did not answer call. Male with east Indian accent left message to call this number back 'so we can help you'. Voicemail did not identify the caller's company. It was a voice identical to a call I received app. 11/2years ago claiming to be CRA. I did not return call - this is a scam!

claims to be from CRA & says to avoid criminal charges I had to call him back. said this is the 2nd call to me - but it isnt. This is a scam & needs to be stopped
