Student loan debt. I did answer once, I had bad reception. Lady said she would call back. She was nice. It comes up as a possible scam call, but it is not. I owe the debt. They do leave an encrypted data voicemail.

They probably called both of us at same time along with hundreds of other people. This internet information sharing is getting old quick. I wish I could go back in time to the 80s when I use to walk around with a pocketful of quarters for pay phones. I truly feel for this generation of youngsters that every is posted online.

Keeps calling and never leaves a VM. I wish the FTC would actually spend time prosecuting more companies which don’t abide by the FTC do not call list.

It’s amazing how many spam calls. I even tried changing my number and ended up with more spam calls than before. I don’t even bother answering the phone anymore. How is this even possible or legal

It's Navient. They are a student loan company. Apparently they bought my student loan debt from Sallie Mae.

This # keeps calling my Grandparents ,as Grandpa is a co-signer for my loan. We have our payment taken out automatically ever month, but they say we are behind in payments. Our record on our account says we are all paid up, and Grandpa called the Navient # on our bill, and they said we were all caught up, and no one from there called us. Has to be a scam!

This isn't a collection agency. This is for student loans through Navient. (they took over many federal loans several years ago, still federal, just a different name than what you took your loan out from if it was 10-15 years ago).If your loan is past due or comes out of deferment and you have missed several payments, you get a call from a recording to prompt you to call. If you call them, and need to be deferred longer, they will do it. If you don't, it goes on your credit and you can't really fight student loans. I'd call them. I noticed someone said it's ancient. Your student loans never go away. They are through the federal government.
