Well I went against my normal -do not answer if I don't know the number- routine and got the call. This was the call and immediately hang up. I am sure I will start getting the scam of the week sales pitches starting tomorrow.

I'm also on the Do Not Call Registry. Morons tried calling at 12:55 9-17-14.I don't answer calls from numbers and area codes I don't know, as it's usually marketing parasites. Seems to be the case here.

Robo-caller. Called my cell phone and mentioned something about student loans. Press 1 to answer two questions to see if I qualify for loan forgiveness or press 9 to removed from their call list. I pressed 9, so hopefully they don't try calling again.

A robot woman told me I won a cruise to the Bahamas and all I had to do was take a survey. Let the first question play out of curiousity and it was a question about social media affecting privacy. I dislike that kind of irony so I hung up.

I'm on the do not call list, for what good that is these days. Just to think, I pay for a phone line just to be annoyed by phone spammers on a daily basis. I hardly ever answer numbers any more that I don't recognize unless I'm in a bad mood and want to freak out on somebody, but they caught me on a good day, so I let the machine get it.
