I recently signed up to be notified when a s*x offender in my neighborhood has a status change. I signed up through the MD state webpage. Now I'm getting calls and voicemails from this number constantly until I answer. They stop once you listen to the entire message and respond yes/no to the automated questions. It's legit but annoying.

First, this recording said it was part of vine system so of course I followed up, since child has dead beat dad. 17 yrs of child support owed. THEN, repeated call from this number that automatically forwarded to some sort of health insurance company. Like anyone working for half wages during pandemic can afford ANYTHING extra! not! HOWEVER, it did get me thinking about other than Texas. Someplace where all your money doesn't go for taxes...hmmm

It's VineLink, a service that let's victims know when their perpetrator is released from jail. If you have no connection, somebody must have accidentally put you number in instead of their own. I think VineLink is legit because I used it twice for my stalker and it was wonderful to know instead of being all nervous.

I know its annoying but in order for it to stop calling you need to listen to the message. When it asks for your PIN, its the last 4 of your phone number. Once you complete the Pin input and the rest of the call, they will stop calling. Stop just not answering or blocking. That won't work. It's an automated system so it will continue until the PIN process is complete. Even if you have never signed up for Vine,
