Called 3 times. First hint that it was a scam was that it claimed that a (516) phone number was a toll free number. As far as I know, all the toll free numbers start with 800 or 866 or 888.

I called the number back multiple times today using different annoying voices. Reached the same person at the 'call center' (fake call center noise in the background) each time. My point was to waste his time. I posted the number on my Facebook account and asked my friends to also call to waste his time.I reported this number to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/ and to the apple support email.Number now seems to be disconnected. Shame. It was getting fun.

The incoming calls says 'Apple Technical Support' and has the real number for Apple. They leave a voicemail with a mechanical voice and it doesn't all come through BUT they say to call them back at 516-344-1156. Of course I'm not calling back. I tried to call Apple but hold is too long

I received 6 phone calls between 1:35 pm & 4:44 pm from different #'s and they said they were with apple icloud and gave me the # to call back of 516-334-1156. I do NOT own anything apple. The last call I listened to person start the con and then I told them to shut up as I don't have their product and received 5 other calls just today and I am going to call the Sheriff next time so to take my name off the list.

A message came on our phone, starting halfway through a sentence. It was hard to figure out what they were talking about, but it was something to do with Apple Support and a breach of something or other. The above number (516-344-1156) was mentioned at the end. Obviously a scam - we deleted the message immediately.
