Just received this call after placing an Old Navy online order yesterday. I let it go to voicemail and they said they were calling to confirm some billing information and to call 1800-OLD-NAVY (1800-653-6289) and ask for customer research department. Seems legitimate. My billing and shipping addresses are in completely different states so maybe that raised a red flag for them. I will call Old Navy to verify.

NOT A SCAM! They called me earlier today regarding an order I placed with Old Navy last night. They needed me to verify the correct phone number with my credit card's account because I accidentally gave them the wrong one.

Its a scam trying to steal credit card information!!!!!

I received the same call wanting to conference call my bank to confirm. It's NOT a scam. I followed up and confirmed legitimacy with both my bank and Old Navy afterwards on separate calls that I made to each place.

I placed an order on old navy.com yesterday and received a call today stating that if I don't call back by tomorrow, my order will not be processed. All necessary information was given online during order.

So, now I'm concerned bc if this is true then how do they know that I made the order? Wouldn't that mean that they have my information? Should I cancel my credit card?

I received the call also. She was very professional, she said they call to verify address and that you placed order, They ask you to wait while they transfer you to your bank. She also said she could email me the contact information to call her back.
