Similar to all the others What a pain ! Very hard to understand !

Caller said his name was Shawn Michael. Had a fairly thick Indian accent and claimed to be from the IRS threatening to send agents to take me into custody for overdue taxes. I asked to speak to a supervisor - he didn't give a name, but also had an Indian accent. The two guys were telling different stories so I knew it was a scam.

Left a message claiming to be from treasury dept. When I tried to return the call, it was auto busy

Pretty sure this was a scam, because of the THICK accent and the fact that I don't owe anyone money and my taxes are current. I just worry about the elderly that fall for these scams. Someone needs to find these people and shut them down!!

Said agents were going to come arrest me. Department of treasury and we owe them 4,000.00

Very American sounding names, not American sounding voices. Claim I owe money, or they will take legal action. Phone is in Glen Rock, Pa. Obviously a scam.

2 calls saying Treasury Department was after us, described just like many others.Can't someone stop them?

Same situation here, nearly identical to what others have reported. 'Mr. Grey' called four times today; I input the number into a reverse phone number app on my cellular phone and it immediately popped up as spam. Seriously lame.

I recieved several calls like this from several different numbers but like the rest he had a heavy accent and hard to understand. Yes wish the IRS or FBI could stop these people from doing this.

Identifies himself as Dennis Grey. Tells me I am in trouble with Treasury Department. I need to appear before federal magistrate judge and he wants to help me and I need to 'cooperate' with him. And I am sure that this 'cooperation' will involve money. So these calls got no further than my answering machine.

Guy called me stating I was behind in taxes, he told me he was sending out agents to arrest me..all he wanted was information from me. If these guys are impersonating US treasury and trying to commit identity fraud, doesn't that make it a federal case?? Why can't we catch and stop them!? I talked to my accountant just to see if he was aware of these scams and he said the US treasury will NOT EVER contact you by the phone, always mail!

Got A call from a person representing the IRS and had a thick indian accent.The Caller id said it was from Pennsylvania. Very convincing guy named Dennis Gray. He told me that I owed money and need to appear in front of a magistrate unless I cooperate with him. SCAM ARTIST

Got the call twice today---Left messages- Left another number, asking me to call back. U.S. treasury debts ..similar threats like other posters. This has happened from other numbers several times in the past year

I received two call from this number claiming I am in trouble with US Treasury, since I work for the IRS I know differently. I returned call asking not to be contacted again.

Same as all others. Funny someone obviously from India or the like is named Dennis. I plan to call them and waste their time.

Called us three times today (so far). Says his name is Dennis Grey; obviously a scam. Says that he is threatening enforcement action by the U.S. Treasury. He also mentions this is a criminal offense. This person has a foreign accent. Can't understand why someone hasn't hit him with a federal offense.
