I just got a call that came up as 'Potential Spam', with the # 718-274-2732 underneath. He said his name was Jason, he was from Con Edison, offering me a 30% discount on my electric bill. He said we've spoken before (never have) and asked for my name, account info, and address. I knew it was a scam, so I challenged him the entire time, asking for HIS information, his employee ID#, and said that HE should have MY information, if he actually was from ConEd. He hung up.

Call came in today, 8.7.2020., @2:46PM. Caller said he was James. My Caller ID indicated the call was from Con Edison - though I knew it wasn't. 'James' said he was calling about my electricity. I replied, 'there's no problem with my electricity service.' A second call comes in, again, @3:08PM - from Con Edison. No one was on the other end of the line.
