Called my cell; call went to voicemail. No message left. Also on the DNC Registry (have been for years, with yearly updates every year). Assigned it to my auto reject list and filed a complaint at donotcall.gov. As another person stated, perhaps if there are more complaints filed against them, then something will be done to shut them down.

This number came through, caller ID says it was Cindy Adams, from Far Rockaway, NY.. I do not know this person and all my phones are listed on the do not call Government site.. Called me Today hang up without saying anything, I believe the scam is that they verified if the number is still working than your number passed on to other telemarketers, Sour Note this site is no different either, which I found out when I try to get the verification but what amazed me that these spammers do everything to sell you something the only thing left now for them to advertise on the toilet papers sheets

A guy asked me to hold then a girl picked up and told me I had money due me from an overpayment of a student loan. I told her to send it but she claimed I had to send a $49.00 fee to her company and she would expedite the payment from the gov't to me. I told her not a problem if i could hand her the $49 personally. She hung up.

Call came in on my cell. Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer, left no voice mail. Assigned the number to the phone book entry I've labeled SPAM CALL - DO NOT ANSWER so I'll know not to answer in the future. That phone book entry has about a dozen numbers assigned to it now - very handy as a personal reminder.

Claimed they were IRS agents, demanded back taxes and would waive late fees if I paid now with debit card. I told them I was a collection agent with IRS and asked what office they were out of, they hung up.
