We keep getting calls from this number and only hear silence. I do have a child in cps and don't mind hearing the messages from the Mayor or Huberman, but hate that the message doesn't play. I also teach in cps. I find that a lot of parents don't even know their numbers when they fill out the emergency forms. If you get unwanted calls, it may be because some parent has written their number incorrectly or filled in their employment phone number where the form says 'home'. We often have a sick child and can not reach any number because the phone has been disconnected or the people at the number don't even know the child we are calling about. I hope it works when you call the number to remove your phone number.

They call me each day and only silence in the handset

Please let me know how to stop these calls....They call early in the mornings, and late in the night...I just want them to stop, I do not even have kids...They have been calling me for almost a year now and I can't figure out how to stop them....Please, I'm getting desperate.

Chicago Public Schools with recorded update information. I called the number to be taken off the list (773 553-3925, option 3, then option 1) and got a human. Turns out one of my employees gave my number as an emergency contact at their kid's school in Chicago.

It's so annoying. Calling every day.

I get this call almost every day about a child that I do not have missing school. I have called and asked for it to be taken off but it keeps happening. I've had to block the number from calling me.

I have been getting these 'your child miss class' calls for years. If there's a public school kid associated with my number, that kid needs a good spanking. I just called and spoke to a man. He says that he couldn't locate my home phone in their system. Says that he will be sending the matter to another department.

Just got a voicemail from the CPS - about updating my information for my school children. I don't live in Chicago anymore and I don't have kids of school age.

Chicago Public Schools...you are terrible. I've made MULTIPLE attempts to get my new phone number out of their database. I have no children and I am not a contact for anyone. Finally had to block this number and the other one they call from as well....773-553-1000. I rec'd 10 calls yesterday. 10. Absolutely ridiculous.

They also left me a message saying that my kid is absent today.COME ON Today is SUNDAY!!!

Yeah, this number called me and it was an automated message saying that my child was absent from school today. I don't even have kids. They keep calling back every couple of hours and leaving other nonsensical messages that have nothing to do with me.

Yes, the Chicago Public Schools....They left a message regarding the deadline for running for local school council. I don't even have children that go to Chicago Public Schools.

We )registered nurses, doctors, surgeons, and secretary)work in the recovery and none of our staff's children goes to CPS's. These call interrupts us when we care for our patients coming out of the operating room.

I got a call from this number and when I answered, there was no one on the line. After reading the arod's message, I decided to call the number back and got a recorded message saying that I might have gotten a call from my child's school or a broadcasting message from the Chicago Public School. Well my child's school is off for Spring Break all of this week (today is a Wednesday) so I know it was not from there. So, I gather is some sort of Broadcast message been delivered to everyone in there data base. They also give you a number to call to report getting calls from this number when you don't have any kids in the the Chicago Public Schools, so they can remove your number from the data base.

I get these calls too and are anoying because my kids do not go to CPS. I called 773-553-5700 and got the # to call to remove your # from the list. The # they gave is 773-553-3925, option 2. So I called and pressed option 2, then it gives more options to choose from. I don't know what to press then....

The Chicago Public Schools called to say they are making sure they have the correct contact information for students, and they left another number to call if you didn't have children in the CPS. (it was a recording)

I receieve calls from this number at least once every two weeks. It is for the Chicago Publix Schools. I do not even have kids. It might have been the person who had this number before me I guess.

I have called twice and emailed twice to stop the calls from the Chicago Board of Education. I do not have children but I keep getting calls from 773-553-5700. How do I get these calls to stop?

This number has been calling me for the past few months. The first time they called 3 times, then left a voicemail, which was a computer telling me my child has missed school today..I (same as annoyed said) don't have any kids. They keep calling, and when I answer to tell them they have the wrong number, I get no response. Once when I answered, a computer message came on and I hung up..if you know how to end these calls, please let me know
