They called saying they were going to charge my account for support. I stayed on the line until someone answered. They said they were for computer support. Told them I was an IT professional and did not need their support; however, they better quit scamming people because they were going to get caught. Told them to never call me again unless they wanted federal authorities involved. This is interstate fraud and I cannot believe our government cannot stop this. My time is too valuable to have to deal with these fly-by-nights.

call reporting a $799 I Phone was ordered from Amazon to be sent to Dayton, Ohio.Please call the above # if this is incorrect. I called Amazon and no such order had been placed. Perhaps if I had been stupid enough to call them with my information, it would have been.

Well then you should also know Federal Authorities have no jurisdiction over criminals in a foreign country unless the authorities in the foreign country cooperate.

just received the same call about somebody ordering an Iphone. I knew it was a scam but how many will not. Do not ever give info out on inbound call or email. I get a fraud alert saying they are from amazon or paypal all the time. Click here and login. No thanks

Unfortunately, I almost got scammed my gut was twisting with uncertainty. I have been on Amazon ordering for Christmas and thought did my account get hacked? I was almost foolish until they gave me $50 gift certificate to see if it will go through my account! Well, I hung up immediately and called Amazon. Weird thing they said the $50 was legit! But, no such order on my account! I blocked my accounts immediately and got new cards and cancelled all account information with Amazon. Let's say I was real lucky to follow my blessing to hang up!

I just got a call saying my Amazon order for an IPHONE going to Dayton , Ohio was not mine to call immediately 910-387-0865. Don't we all have enough to do at this time of the year and then have to put up with this . Don't fall for bogus incoming calls!!

Most likely it is intercontinental fraud, unless you really think the call came from NC in which case you should look up 'Caller ID Spoofing' since you never heard of it. You can then read and learn all about it.

The caller ID said California.. left a message saying something about an Amazon package delivery and to call the number they gave me to Amazon fraud and billing protection. I didn’t order anything so it’s def BS

Just got the same call. .but they gave me a discount...Mine was only $791. To be delivered to Dayton, Ohio....Wish they would get a job and try making their own money for a change...

calling repeatedly. says they're about to deduct automatic payment of $399.99 from my account unless I call them. Says it is for 'computer service' or something. they call often.
