It indicates this is voice mail and the recording tells you to press 3 certain digit's to retrieve your voice mail. Also to press 3 certain digit's to erase voice mail. This number 916-806-2996 calls and sends text messages. It is unknown what happens if a person would press the 3 digit's numbers that the recording is telling you to press. I wonder if this could give them permission / access to use your account on your phone number to make calls or what ever.... I hung up right away.

Its a number associated with Scientology. I've been harassed by them for the past few years.

the message feature on my android said I called this number 50 times in the last 6-months when I did not actually place such calls.

On Sunday morning at 9:10 I received a voice message saying, 'Hello. Answer your phone. It's an emergency.' The woman's voice was very calm. It did not sound at all like an emergency call. I know of no one in California.

Who are these people. Phone die not ring, they leave no message and when you call back want Password. Very strange and iratating

This number said I called it today! No clue! And hell no I didn't call back! You don't know what info they might get just by you calling that number back!

I was Italy when this call came on my cell phone. I had ATT give me credit as I don't know anyone in the Sacramento area.

Received a call saying I was being sued and needed to contact them. They stated the wrong name and the wrong four digits of my ss#. They say they are serving legal papers on me for some issue they just received a fax on. Scammers.

Scam, spam unsure however it will not remove from my phone. Seems to be hacked into my phone. Listed as belonging to many users. Amvreporting to FCC ADA and Cingular.

This phone number may have been used by scammers in the past, or possibly it has been spoofed, but right now it is the cell phone number for the guy delivering my cord of wood .

Left message on my phone saying I won a govt grant.

Called at 8am while i was in bed and claimed that they were suing me and this was a final notice. Surely a scam, i just listened to the voicemail and i wont be calling back.

When I opened my mobile phone at 11:07 P.M. it actually indicated that I was trying to call this number, however impossible. No idea who this # belongs to 'most surely scammers'.
