Had 4 calls from this number starting at 9.05 am 2 more through the day and the last one at 8.40pm they ring and hang up when I answer

I get 4 calls a day from this number just cut them off hope they get the hint soon

these pests ring up and try to engage you in a conversation, all the time fishing for personal information about your car/van/home/pension/personal and if you need it public liability insurance, if you catch on as I did and just hang up half way through their sales pitch, they will keep briefly ringing you and giving you missed calls. they are best ignored altogether.

Claim to be from Churchill, say I've had a (suspiciously cheap) online quote for my van insurance. The thing is my insurance is due but they started calling BEFORE I started looking for quotes. Very suspicious as they then want me to give them all my details (to prove who I am - but who are they?). I think this is a fishing expedition, for what I'm not sure but they're not getting anything from me.

I dialled the number back but withheld my mobile number. It was answered as Parkside Group. I told them that I had dialled a wrong number and checked out the name on the internet.It seems to be a huge company that is involved all over the world with property, hospitals, hotels etc. You name it, they are involved in it. Called my mobile on a Saturday morning asking me about my van insurance. I don't own a van. They may well be a big company but they are a bunch of sharks as far as I am concerned.

They call within minutes of you putting your details into a comparison site, best ignored.
