I receive this call on a daily basis. Please tell them to get LOST and ignore this or put them on hold and go work, watch TV, hoover.. whatever. Sometimes I prefer to ask them to wait a second and ignore them, I like to make sure their call time is costing them money.

Microsoft would not contact you, if there is an error on you PC it will ask you itself to contact micro soft. They are like IBM and Dyson, they do not contact customers you contact them if you require assistance.Tell them we know it's a scam, and good bye.

Had two calls from this number yesterday. The first time it was from a female caller, my wife answered, listened and politely said 'no thank you' and hung up. The phone rang almost immediately again, this time from a male, who was obviously annoyed and demanded t know why my wife had hung up. He insisted that our PC had been hacked and as we spoke he was becoming more and more annoyed and verbally aggressive and using a few choice swear words. Obviously a scam.

This has appeared on my PC claiming to be a Microsoft 'toll free' number as the only way to 'unblock' my Internet Explorer which IS blocked by the scam 'error' message. This is a nasty virus or piece of malware which I am struggling to remove.

3 calls in the space of 3 hours. Supposedly had a virus on my computer which needed repairing. Strung the guy along on the 3rd call with switching on, answering door, rebooting computer, getting him to repeat instructions but doing nothing. Eventually asked him to hang on, then ended call. He had the audacity to ring back again, this time he gave me this number. Claimed to be from Microsoft. Be aware!

For past three days have had a phone call from person stating he was from BT and that I was being hacked.He said he was going to stop my Internet for two days. I refused to do as he asked and he became very rude and abusive. He called me a Physcho. He said that he had control of everything I do on the Internet. The fact I wouldn't obey him he was going to make sure I could not use the Internet again. He said his name was Eddie Cooper. If I was an elderly person I would have been totally duped.
