British gas with your bill is a nanosecond late and our billions of pounds profit is suffering!!!!!!British gas are scum!

This is British Gas, who seem to be allowing someone in India to automatically dial UK customers while routing the number as a call from a UK landline that is actually a number for Scottish Gas in Glasgow. If you answer the call and complain, the Indian caller claims they can do nothing to change the behaviour of their automated system, but will put a note on it which appears to have no effect whatsoever.I thought this was the kind of thing the regulators were trying to get rid of in the UK.

Recieved 6 calls from this numb..even 9 at night...called Scottish/british gas to be told they dont know whos calling and its not them...no help at all from them..

Called at 6pm on a Sunday, did not answer stated calling from Scotland but left what I believe to be a lengthy voicemail in Chinese.

A man with an Indian accent called me on Saturday 6th January 2018, at 16:45pm, informing me my Gas bill I received on 28th Dec 2017, was overdue. He asked that I pay it immediately and I should give him my bank details. He asked several times for bank details. I gave him short shrift, telling him I have no idea who he is, or if he is even genuine. I informed him I would be paying bill on Monday and didn't appreciate his call. Also telling him I was not continuing the conversation and I hung up.
