I have received a letter to my home address with all my details, which is very scary know how my data has been shared.

Yes they are a PPI company, but i wouldn't count on them much as iv just received a letter from them for a Mr Ackmid Terror so they are a useless company that accept fake names

My mother in law has received a consumer service refund letter that has her address on it but her sons name. He hasn't lived there for 24 years. She's had no mail before for him and hopes he's not putting her address as his. Is it common place for this to happen or is it probable that he has initiated contact because his name and her address are on the application form. Usually it's addressed to the occupier or homeowner. I would oblige any comments.

This is Consumer Refund Service, Office 1, Horton Park, Seaton Burn, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE13 6BU.It is genuine actually, Yes its relating to PPI, I received £2,576 from mis sold PPI relating to a credit card from years back, a well know High St bank contacted me with a formal apology and the enclosed cheque after the Consumer Refund service did the ground work, ok there was a fee to pay but I can say this is NOT A SCAM.

I received a letter from Consumer Refund Service & called the number 01661678013 & it was answered & just a muffled call centre back ground noise. Don't waste your time.

Received a letter saying that they are a Consumer Refund Service (PPI) .They also ring several times aday, don't bother answering.

Over the past couple of months this number and several other unknown numbers have called me, some of them repeatedly. I called a couple of them back and they told me to hold the line ,my call is important ,one of their operators will answer as soon as possible . No one answers !
