this number has been calling the business that i work for, for over a year, two or three times a day. I know he is lying about who he is and what he wants, hang up on him constantly, now I am getting very abusive language and swearing. How do you stop these calls, have contacted police and all calls are now recorded
The operator on this number is saying he represents Scottish Power, then demands that he is listened to, telling the recipient to shut up and pay attention if they say they don't want to talk to him, also he makes persistent return calls, this is harassment.
This telemarketer waste no time telling you they're from UK Energy Services. Told them not interested and hung up... Not a minute go by, They're phoning us again. Usual trait: indian/pakistan, Call centre, 'Hello how are you'/'Could I speak with the manager'
Stated they could offer better gas and electric, Told them I was happy with my supplier. He was rude and very arrogant saying he would ring back everyday until I listened to him. Why cant these numbers be blocked quickly.
'This is Vatan from the complaint energy department' Hung up on Vatan and blocked number. Vatan calls back, 'Why you hung up on me? I'm not afraid of TPS' Hung up and blocked Vatan again. Oh Vatan... XXXXXX
Phones at 4. 30 pm on a Saturday. Said they wanted to speak with the owner about electricity. Indian accent with call centre noise in the background. I told him where to go as I am sick of these calls. Hung up and the phone immediately rang continually for 25 minutes. When I picked it up and cancelled the call it rang again and again. When I then picked it up and listened there was a man pouring out foul mouthed abuse which I have recorded. As I left my shop the phone was still ringing.
Said they were from 'complaints' in some department responsible for the 'relationship' between customers and gas/electric suppliers. As I am having all sorts of aggro with Western Power right now, I told him to write to me. Started to shout and argue so I put down the phone. I get a LOT of these calls.
From UK Energy apparently and they can beat all prices from competitors. But when i eventually got prices from them, No they are not cheaper. This seemed to annoy him and the man became abusive. So i hung up and blocked the number.

Foreign woman with bad english asked for BUISINESS Onwer, That means they want to sell, Only business manager can commit to audio contracts on line. When i asked why RUDELY haungup. Repeated attmpts, Horrible pests.
Fed up of them. Always saying electricity supplier, National grid, Need you to read your meters. Grilled him but he was fumbling his words, Thick accent, Noisy background, Then getting nasty so I hung up, Blocked it again. I fear for the vulnerable who wouldn't realise its a scam straight away.
Asked for my electric provider, I refused any he continues to call but his choice of words is inappropriate - now getting nasty with who provides your XXXXXX electric and when i asked to speak to the boss was repeatedly told i am the XXXXXX boss. Now up to 5 calls today.
Say they are from national grid. Meter not compliant to today's standard. Doesn't conform to regulations. Gave previous occupant's details who is now deceased. Told them several times not A business. When I asked for their number & repeated we were residential they hung up. Wanting business details.
Very rude woman could not understand her called back twice asked how I could hep she replied im not to help she has complain talked so fast I advised her I could not understand her then I hung up twice this happened
I received a call from this number, They said they would speak to previous business owner, I can not understand him due to strong accent, I asked him to repeat, Instead, He started swearing, He is an awful and disgusting man. Keep away for this number
I received 12 calls within 30 minutes. Lady persistently asked for meter readings saying that there had been excessive electricity usage and they needed to change the meter. She couldn't give me a meter number or account number and only stopped ringing when I said that the line was now being monitored.
Pretending to be from National Grid Head Office. Strong, Barely intelligible asian accent - obvious cold calling scam. Saying that I had complained about my energy charges (which I hadn't). Told them I didn't want the call and hung up. Should consult TPS but clearly not genuine.
Indian man asked me if I was the business owner, I said no & asked what it was regarding, He then asked if I was married! I said that's none of your business, He said I am human and I want to know if you're married!! I told him not to ring us again.
Reluctant to identify himself, Then said he was calling from an ombudsmen! I told him I wasn't interested and asked him not to call again. Within 30 seconds he called again and asked why I was angry with him.
Totally awful when and where are we going to stop people like this wasting business times told the guy wasn't interested, He called back again about 3 times trying to argue, He was obviously a big man behind his phone!! Anyway NO ONE DEAL WIRH THESE,
Absolutely no idea what the rude lady wanted. Originally she mentioned making a complaint, And then went into asking me about my electricity supplier. Total waste of time and easily the most unprofessional phone call I've ever received.
Claimed to be from companys House asking for personal detail. When I asked many questions he became very rude. I asked for the number for Companys House and this is what he gave me 03031XXXXX HaHa! He Called constantly because I hung up on him. I answered eventually and told him I was reporting this number to the police he told me to XXXX Off! Charming lol. Do not give information to anyone calling from this number. Its a total fraudulent scam!
Indian man claiming to be from the National Grid company, Wanting to confirm a date for change our electric meters. We had our meters changed 12 months ago and I know that the electric company instigate those changes not national grid. Anyway I asked for him to put it into writing, Which he said he would but needed to confirm date now. Says he'll call back üò§
