Catch up call from ee, never asked for any details, just if I was happy, did I need any more data, a special offer tablet etc. I said no, I am with ee, happy it was a genuine call, polite and not pushy.
Said it was EE. Started asking for name, Then wanted address, Which I never gave. EE know my name... I hung up, I feel this is a scam, Plus EE always comes up on my phone when they call, Not this random number.
Genuine EE call. I was sent a text to confirm it was genuine after they asked for my details for 'Data protection'. I was still skeptical and was told if still uncertain. To check the number on the EE website. Shoved it in the search bar on the website and it is coming up as a genuine EE affiliate. It is a sales call though.
Fraudster, They can spoof you by dialing from an apparent 'genuine' number from EE.. In fact they are redirecting and pretending to be EE... Be very careful and never give out your personal information on an incoming call.
