020 8123 8826 called with a phone message stating to the person of the house who is a is a retired elderly person, that they had committed serious fraud and were being investigated. An investigation should be made into the owners of this phone number

I immediately typed the number into this site, and found loads of people are having this call from this number. They must be desperate now, because you'd think they would realise by now that lots of people know about them...jokers.

Thank you so much for this website. My elderly mother is receiving constant scam calls and this one is particularly cruel. Scam calls all started after being hacked into by talk talk scammers. She is refusing to change her telephone number but I think it is getting to the stage where I might need to try harder to persuade her.

My elderly mother also received a call from this number saying that legal action would be taken against her for debts outstanding. She has the sense to know that this sort of information would not be on a recorded message but still needed alot of reassurance. Very scary. These people are cruel.
