Fraudulent scum - credit and debit card theft. BEWARE

Sent me a text through my NatWest messages saying my card may have been fraudulenty used at Apple for £999 & to ring this number. When I telephoned, they asked for my customer log on details which I declined to give. Telephoned NatWest & is a scam.

Fraudulent activity - customer attempting to purchase goods using stolen credit card information. Professional and impressive approach. DO NOT SHIP or SELL ANYTHING to this person.

I phoned this number after I received the Apple text. What's scary is it came through in the Natwest group of messages in my phone along with my usual balance updates. Luckily I'd forgotten my customer number so said I'd call back later. She just sounded like an ordinary English bank clerk. When I checked online the numbers didn't match. I reported this to Natwest but they took no details from me other than confirming it wasn't them who sent the text.

Today, I received a text from NatWest stating that my Debit Card was recently used at Apple Online Store 21052121 for the sum of £999.00, reference AP2873026. I was asked to urgently call the Fraud Prevention on 0330124793 which, of course, I did immediately. It was when the message said I was to have my online bank details to hand, including my pin, that I recall NatWest stating that this was something that they would never do. I then found this site ... and bingo! These evil people.
