constantly getting rang from this number no one speaks

Watched caller display didn't recognise number phone clicked on to answer phone, no one spoke could hear Call Centre type chit chat going on in the background. No one left a message then line went dead.

Cold call wanting homeowner. Blocked.

Is it just me or is everyone negative about these sort of things?I was called by these northerners . They explained i could have my boiler replaced if i hit the scheme criteria . They were very nice and explained how it worked. I agreed and yesterday i had my boiler replaced FREE .Give these companies a break there giving free boilers away.Tom Cribb

Pain in the ass

I answered the phone to be greeted by the obvious sounds of a call centre. The guy asked for me, without stating what he wanted/which company he represented etc. My standard response to such calls is to politely explain that I am not the person he has requested, but can take a message to pass on. At this point he terminated the call without another word. THAT seems to be their standard response!!!

Called 2 weeks ago and told i qualified for a boiler replacement due to the fact i was in receipt of pension credits. They arranged someone to come to my house and check my boiler and asses the property . Ive just had my boiler installed and it did not cost a penny . Thought these things were too good to be true . Obviously not !Very happy

Two calls today already. About boilers. We don't have a boiler! Going on the blocked list.

Answered the phone, guy saying something about boilers. I said that we don't receive cold calls and asked that they took our number off their database. He put the phone down without saying anything. Rude as well as unwanted.

Just got a call from this number asking for someone with the correct surname and initial but different first name. I said they had the wrong number; she then asked me if we lived at an address that I'd never heard of; I said no; so she asked me if we lived in an area without mains gas supply; I said no. She thanked me for my help, and that was it. I have no idea what it was all about???

Boiler funding UK , Based in Newcastle . Called about boilers . I dont have a boiler but the person on the other end of the phone was very polite and i love the geordie accent .

Received call from this number today Woman speaking with Geordie accent. Asked for a name that wasn't me. Claimed to be from Boiler Funding UK . Wouldn't say where she got my number from. When asked the address and postcode of her company , said she had only just started with them and didn't know the address, only that it was Gateshead. When pressed for more info she just rang off. With fraudsters as dumb as that, beats me why they bother!!

In the middle of planning a funeral and getting calls from this number. Registered with TPS, so how am I getting this cr*p ?
