Called twice claiming to be Safeguard uk insurer. I pointed out that: a) I deal directly with insurer (who do not have this number for me) not 3rd Party providers. b) The number they contatced me on is registered with TPS and that I'm fastidious about who is provided with the number, Therefore they have it through nefarious means so I asked why I would want to do business with such an unscrupulous organisation. They hung up.......

Called to say I showed on their system as having life insurance. Advised I don't and hung up. Blocked the number.

Guy tested out various different accents in cadences ranging from jovial to accusatory. Was one of the more unusual cold callers and probably more annoying 'cause he clearly did not give a toss.

Life insurance policy renewal scam. Claimed to be Safeguard Fusion Cover - insurance broker. Indian guy wanting to know all the details of policy. Reported to my mobile phone provider as cold calling - which is now illegal.

They Know your name and claim they've gotten my number from a telemarketing database, They wanted to talk about home insurance (yet they're not selling anything)

In rapid-fire fashion, The Indian accent said: 'I'm from the (something -something) policy review office – how are you today, Good,?' That's all I needed to know. Put the phone down and blocked the number. Scum!

Obviously a scam. I guess it's yet another company Vodafone UK has sold my details to.
