Got text message saying following This is an important message for xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Please call Arvato on 0344 472 0965 quoting reference 0123456789 AFSSTOP 88440Before I called or anything I went and checked online and every information I could find suggested it’s a scam. The way I see it.... if it’s so urgent they would make sure to call and text and call some more. But I only got one text. So I deleted the text and forgot about it.

Suprisingly left a message on the answer phone - 'EFS' or something - with a reference number given - sounded like a machine voice - male - and this is not a marketing call. No idea who or what - then rang again 10 days later but the machine was full (old tech!).

I have blocked this number after receiving calls. Had also received a letter headed with company name ARVATO telling me to phone this number because I owed my bank monies. I phoned my bank they told me that I did not owe any monies. The bank also checked the number they have for this company, it was completely different.DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALLS OR RESPOND TO LETTERS WHICH QUOTE THIS NUMBER.This is a phishing scam.
