Received a text claiming needing postage for a delivery followed by a call from this number who claimed to be Coop bank. Called Coop and its a scam.

Received a call pretending to be my bank, from the fraud department when I said I would contact the bank, he recited personal information and threatened me for money.

Clearly a fraud call. They asked for me by name and sounded very surprised when they got it right. Sounded like very inexperienced scammers who were after my personal info and ruined my day!

I’ve blocked this number now, and when they leave a voicemail it just says my last name in a very robot-y voice. I’ve had about 10 voicemails from them.

I suspect this is a scammer number disguised as genuine HSBC number. A call from this number sounded exactly the same as some previous scam call which trick me into giving them the last ten digits of my credit card number and then fooled me to give them the one time passcode to consent to a transaction.
