No answer has been forthcoming. Very unprofessional to neither say who the originator is and to not reply.

Just had We are working on behalf of your service provider... come through... Kelly Comms were out today fitting a new line for BT OpenReach (on behalf of Sky)... based on the other comments it looks like it is something to do with either Kelly or OpenReach.

From Virgin media requesting whether they can install virgin media without me being at the property! Yeah right, like I'm going to allow them to dig up my garden without me being there.

received sms msg from this number saying We are working on behalf of your communication provider and hope you enjoy your new services... Sounds like nonsense and unsolicited message. I just deleted it.

I was in the process of having BT wifi installed but this was not from them and I gave it a stiff ignoring. Have reported this number to ICO as unsolicited marketing.

This is a legitimate message, not sure why everyone is convinced it’s a scam. 🤦‍♂️OpenReach contract out to Kelly Communications for residential installs, this is you being given an opportunity to contact them if anything has gone wrong. Not well worded/identified granted, but clearly legitimate when you’ve just had an engineer visit.

Just had a text from this number (had Virgin Media installed a couple of days ago) all the message said was $url, no idea what this means.

Had BT install phone line and wifi the other day so, presumably, going by the other comments, its to do with this BUT I'm not responding , if there is problem I will contact Sky direct........text deleted.......

My husband got the message saying that virgin media will need to run cable to the property without us being there, just a day after the broadband order. I don't know how they did it, by Virgin was registered on my number and all sounds highly suspicious.
