Received this today thought it was genuine as my first name was in the text, luckily I thought to check before going further, this is a very convincing scam

Yes, it´s a scam. Just now and again they will happen to txt someone using a random name that just happens to match yours. It´s not personal, they are just targeting anyone and everyone. If you ever meet someone who works for such a moral-less company you know what to do.

REMOVE to 07520632158.My concern is that they knew my name and spelled it correctly as most people spell it as Sonia and I often have to spell out to people..... do I need to worry ?

Just received a personalised text about an HDTV from these people, I put the link address into my computer browser to check it and it blocked it as unsecure, say no more.Then found VersoGroup's website and sent them an email to ask if it was them who sent the message. Recommend you all do the same if they spam you, it will keep them busy for a bit.

like many others I received an e-mail and text offering a chance to keep a Dyson Cyclone once I had tested it. Things that seem too good to be true invariably are. I completely ignored it and would advise others to do the same. I did a little background checking and nothing added up at all. Why would a successful company like Dyson use a little dodgy company to test their products? I think they probably have a whole team of people doing that!!!!!
