Say they are HSBC. They are not.

100% HSBC, I have just rang my bank after been confused by the mix messages on here however it is HSBC. DO NOT IGNORE

Genuine number. I phoned HSBC directly. They confirmed the details in the text and that a fraudulent attempt to use my credit card had been made. They are sending me a new card. DONT IGNORE. Phone HSBC to talk to their fraud team.

Just got off the phone with HSBC fraud department. This is definitely their number, Reporting fraud on my card. All those reporting this is a scam are probably scamming!!!!

Had this text this morning claming there were 2 transactions on my card. Did not teply to the text bit onstead phoned hsbc. There wete indeed two fraudulent yransactions on my card. Those sayong this is a scam are talking bollocks. PHONE YOUR BANK IF YOU GET THIS TEXT

Fake hsbc fraud number. Rang bank twice to make sure but it definitely fake. DO NOT REPLY.

Claims to be HSBC but fake. Had last 4 digits of my card and my telephone number. Also had two unauthorised transactions on my card, So this is quite serious. Get in touch with your bank asap!

Says it's HSBC, Warning of suspicious transactions on Visa card. It is nothing to do with HSBC - have just spoken to them today. Do not respond to the message. Delete it.

Ive just had this number 07537438061 come up as saying Fraud on my card, But prior to that I had no number, Just a text from HSBC Fraud saying shortly a message from above number will come thru, If I had authorised a transaction and type Y or N? So confusing.

THIS WAS GENUINE MESSAGE, THERE WERE TRANSACTIONS THAT WERE UNAUTHORISED AND WERE BLOCKED BY HSBC (THANKFULLY) HOWEVER, THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER (!!! STRANGE!!!) PS. IS THERE A SUPER HERO WHO IS HELPING?

I just checked with HSBC and the number and text message was legitimate.

Got message from this number claiming to be HSBC advising there is fraud on my credit card. This is not true 100% scam number.

Came as part of a mobile phone text entitles HSBCFraud and said they will send a message on this number (with a link highlighted) Do not touch link! Delete message. Clearly a scam. My banking app at HSBC would have shown a message if real.
