Received a voicemail from a friend last week. Listened to the voicemail and responded etc, But didn't delete the voicemail. The number above was a text reminder from EE saying I had a voicemail in my account 1 week later. Genuine number. I first though it was spam, As I had the same number a while ago about a different service. Makes sense now, It's the text number EE use to send out voicemail reminders...
Although people are saying this is EE I had a text to say I had a missed call and to dial 222, This isn't how EE normally send voice mail texts so I didn't dial it. I instead found an old voicemail text and went via that route..... No voicemails for me. It's a scam.
This is the EE voicemail service and nothing sinister. Yes, Sometimes an unanswered spamscamjunk call will end up on your voicemail service and sometimes there is a callback number on the message. Blacklist THAT number, Not your voicemail (don't shoot the messenger). If no callback number is left then delete unwanted message and move on, Or simply deactivate your voicemail.
Message left on my voicemail: 'I've got this information about the accident in which you were innocent, Is that right?' No name, No company mentioned, No reference to any date or person. Who falls for these things?
Fed up with this number constantly calling me cold callers they should stop there nuisance calls to people especiallt when its 2/3 times a day i wanr there number blocked so as i dont get any more calls
