I have tried and tried to get rid of this number without any success. Ignoring the call doesn't work and blocking the number dosent work it's a real pain.

just joined EE with my new number within 24 hours so called EE were leaving me voicemail.They have left at least one or two a day, getting frustrated, about time EE changed its number to prove it is them who are ringing you. Come on EE set something up to stop EE members being harassed, look after your customers who will look after you. At this rate will be leaving EE very soon.

I blocked this number but got a voicemail which when I listened to sounded like a pocket call, I could hear a Scottish accent but couldn't make out the conversation except for some words about how to deceive the person being called with info regarding wi-fi specifically older recipients even though it is blocked I suggest you name it in your address book as scammers and never call them on 222.

Received a voicemail from a friend last week. Listened to the voicemail and responded etc, But didn't delete the voicemail. The number above was a text reminder from EE saying I had a voicemail in my account 1 week later. Genuine number. I first though it was spam, As I had the same number a while ago about a different service. Makes sense now, It's the text number EE use to send out voicemail reminders...

Each time try to listen to EE voicemail all I get is silence then a list of instructions what to next. So I delete the 'message' then hang up.

Blacklist THAT number, Not your voicemail (don't shoot the messenger). If no callback number is left then delete unwanted message and move on, Or simply deactivate your voicemail.
