I too have received pop on computer that I had this virus stated above with the message call this number. Your computer will crash within hour and 9 minutes supposedly from Microsoft this and would advise others to do so. I do not answer my landline for ANY call from numbers I do not recognise.. or when it flashes on computer. I was caught out a couple of years ago so my mantra is IGNORE, IGNORE.
My daughter got the same message come up on her laptop and panicked and tried to phone the number. I checked the number on here and decided to get her to back up all her stuff and reboot her computer. No issues- and definitely no computer exploding in 1 hour and 8 mins... Fraud. Man posing as Microsoft rep for the purpose of scamming money and frightening people into thinking something is wrong with their computers. Authorities should trace the phone number and look into his computer! He took over mine, remotely and when I refused to pay any money as I thought he was a fraud, he hung up. Five minutes later, he deleted All 1,000+ of my family photographs, remotely! I hope our paths never cross.
