Just had someone call from this number with a strong Indian accent claiming to be doing a survey for tsb bank (with which I have an account). I googled the number while talking to her and found this page and immediately hung up. She started with very innocuous questions about my experience with the bank but I wonder where the conversation would have gone if I'd stayed on the line.

If you have been called by Motif on this number then it is NOT a scam, Purely all they want is feedback on the service you have recieved from a specific company. Please don't spread nonsense as they are only trying to do their job! Motif is an independent market research company that have many clients that they do feedback surveys on behalf of. They can also not say the name of the bank or company until they know it is the customer they are speaking to due to customer confidentiality reasons.

Genuine phone call from Lloyds Banking Group (which is why they can't say the name of the bank as it covers Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and any others they own) It's just an automated survey asking you to rate the customer service you received.
