If it is Barclays they are not doing themselves any favours I've just had a call from my personal banker I didn't even no I had one then she asked for certain details I hung up it might be genuine but if in doubt hang up and phone your local branch to confirm its genuine

Barclays do make certain calls. I work for them myself. They will only ever ask for letters from mothers maiden name and DOB, never any PINs Passcodes or account information

i have just had a call from this number on my house phone which when i answerd they did not reply,i have not give my number out to any-one yet as the phone as only just been connected, people say its from barclays asking about your accounts,well i have never banked with them,so how have they even got my number,something must be dodgy about it.

Somebody (Ladies) calling me than 14/01/2019 , at 13.42 pm.asked for info. my mother first and last letter name. and if i have debit card or credit card.in Tuesday 29/01/2019 , at 12.30 pm i was in my bank and asked some (ladies) if this number is the banl number she said me no this is not bank number.and nu i check in the internet , the 08000852652 is Barclays Bank phone number.I don't feel good, i just wander i can believe my bank or no.

Said they were Barclays asking for my internet banking experience and then for personal details which i refused to give and hung up. I'm not sure if it's genuine or not but I would never give details to a number calling me.

This is genuine call from Barclays. They will ask a couple of security questions but won't ask for pins or passwords as stated on the Barclays website and in their advert. They can confirm 6 digits from your debit card for peace of mind too. They are calling to review your accounts. It's not a sales call. Great service happy to help!
