It has to be a scam. I keep getting texts saying I need to pay for the energy I've used but I've never had any connection with EON. I was with EDF for years and have recently moved to SSE.

The team leader who had the list of dimenture sufferes to call and scam is Guy Stevens of newhaven Brighton. He even called someone a Pa###;;i on the phone when i was working there. How has he and Ash David been able to peddle their fraudalent activites for so long !

I received a text today purporting to be with Eon saying that 'you still owe us for the energy you have used' then giving a website and 0800 883 0086. I am not an Eon customer, so don't know where this is coming from. Upon reading the above I can only conclude this is all a big SCAM. Makes me lose my faith in humanity.

I can confirm from inside knowlage that if you were called by tis number your bank account has been compromised by Tax recovery beuro/allclaim solutions, you have been scammed big time !

It is a Scam, but I phoned Eon to ask how these scammers had got the account name , account number and our phone number and was put on hold for ages ( which was costing me money) for them to say we don't know how they have got your information, (maybe someone who works there who has access to all the information) or maybe Eon are selling our private info!!!!!

Left a message for me on my mobile which I only use sparingly to talk to friends or relatives. Addressed me by my full name and said they were from Eon Energy and there was a problem with my account, which is not true, and asked me to call the above number above. Suspicious of it I did not call the number, instead I Googled it and realised it is a quite well known scam. I spoke to Eon and asked them to have it closed down. They are investigating it themselves.
