Yeesh - looks like telecom regulations were among the first to be deemed unnecessary by the current regime.Such calls, commercial, previously illegal spammers, have suddenly increased in frequency and type. They don't even pretend to be anything but commercial spammers any longer. Blocked, added to the now 350 numbers on my blocker...

Called but did not leave a message. My call protection service listed the caller ID as a Telemarketer. Do not answer.

Cold call, gentleman was friendly and polite Louisiana man. but it was a buisness call.

Called my cell, knew my first name. When I said 'yes,' he hung up. Blocked the call.

says they are debt collection service and give number that I am supposed to call back.

Asked for me by name and then did not say anything after I asked them who they were. They said nothing. I hung up! It was a man’s voice.

Do you take some kind of political stance on everything?? These types of calls have been going on much longer than the current administration, sort of like saying 'Next Time It Rains It Will Be Trump's Fault' If you haven't been told lately let me refresh your psyche..You are an idiot !!

Posing to be Seattle Police, offering facts like last year police death rate raised 18.6% or somthing, then continually asked for a donation/about a do action in cause to te fallen police officers

Called me on cell phone number that gets almost no phone calls. Claimed to be a charity for police officers. I said 'No thank you' and hung up. A few minutes later I got a call from a blocked number, which I didn't answer.

When someone calls, more than once, and does not leave a message the chances are high it's a robocall, telemarketer or scam.

Update - After several additional calls from this number, including also identified as 'Not Available,' we answered one and discovered that it was a timeshare 'relief' company (Emergency Locator???). These companies are a complete scam, charging thousands of $$ and often doing nothing. We've now blocked the number, filed a complaint with the FTC (Do Not Call), and our state attorney general's office.

Called my cell, I picked up and said nothing, and they asked for my husband. His name is not connected to my cell account. I hung up and blocked the number.
