Same details as Pat and Anonymous above. I disabled and received SS and a small amount from the Trust that was left to me, made upset then got mad that he wouldn't answer question just option of fight it or give in and pay the taxes. Gave us a case number of CH 2317855.

Caller says he is calling from Amazon and my account has been hacked and he needs to put me in touch with someone who can 'clear' my account of the fraudulent purchases of Amazon gift cards charged to my account from some unknown person in Dayton Ohio.Sounded fishy to me so I hung up

Claim to be with IRS as if they would call on a Saturday hahaha. But since I am over the hill on the downside, I don't pay taxes don't make enough on SS to pay for the things I need let alone taxes.

Received a call from this number. I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. I listen a voice mail if they leave one. In this case as soon as I heard that it was the IRS I put the number on my reject list. Seems odd that the IRS would call and say they are going to file a lawsuit. Can't imagine that the IRS would even have the time or resources to be calling people and threatening them. These guys are really stupid.
