same as everyone else,,,, saying suspicious activity on my SS#, i blocked the number they left a message. i did not return the call.

called and robo voice said i needed to press one to take care of fraud and security issues with my social security. i pressed 1 then when they answered i acted as if i was answering the phone ' ( another city town i dont live in ) Police Department how can i help you. ' he replied 'this is the police?''yes (blank ) Police Department how can i help you'then hung up and blocked my number. called number on another line and said number was disconnected.

Insisted they needed my social, and I advised I knew this was a scam/fraud call. He continued to ask for my name and social, and I continued refusing. He asked why I was being this way, and I continued telling him I knew it was a scam. I hung up!

A robocall said there had been suspicious activity on my SS account and that all of my assets would be frozen unless action was taken. I pressed 'one' as directed to see if this could be real, the foreign person who answered did not even say anything until I said, hello, hello is anyone there? He then asked for my first and last name, and I said, tell me what this is about. He refused to tell me anything about myself, and I hung up. Creepy.

Recording until 1 is pressed then foreign accent says Social Security Agency how can I help you THEN asks for NAME AND social security number and claims fraudulent activity on my SS account and benefits are to be suspended. I told them if you are SS then you have my information . Their response was to hang up.

Called my cell # and claimed that they were Social Security and that all my accounts were being locked down due to suspicious activity. Actually insinuated the police were going to come to my door. I pressed one for giggles, They asked me for my SS#, if they're calling me, wouldn't they have it???? I said I know this is a scam and they hung up on me.

It was a recording claiming to be from Social Security.
