I am on the donotcall.org site. I still get many telemarketing calls. Sometimes I will text them that I will report them to the FCC and DNC and then I block.

So you make a hollow threat? Simply reporting a spoofed number helps no one and uses up valuable taxpayer resources since they don't have anywhere close to enough people to handle the problems. Then you compound the issue by telling them that they have a good number with someone who will respond to them thus inviting many more calls and texts?

What were they selling? How did you find out that it is a telemarketer selling goods or services?

I have only had 2 telemarketing calls since I signed up on the DNC and they at least apologized when I informed them of it. The rest were not telemarketers and I doubt the caller of this number was either.A telemarketer is someone who is trying to sell you goods or a service and they can't do that if they don't tell you who you are to write the check out to, can they?
