Was getting a call every 5 minutes on different spoofed numbers. Blocked 315 232-8257 on my Spectrum VOIP service and the calls stopped. Not sure why that works, But it does. Thanks to Feb 25 commenter for that tip.
Multiple calls on both of my digital voice lines, And on my 85-year-old mom's as well. Different spoofed CIDs for each call. No option to opt out. Finally pressed 1 to speak with someone who said that my iCloud account had been breached. After telling him that I don't have an iCloud account, He switched gears and said my IP address had been hacked. BTW, I have three software and two hardware firewalls - no one is going to breach my system. I told him to stop calling me, He cursed me and hung
Have been receiving calls every 10 minutes since early this morning. Caller id comes in as a different number each time but voicemail is the same saying they are with apple support and to call them back at 3152328257. Put phone on DND. It would be great if the carriers would do something to filter out these calls.
This is the 8th call today in 3 hours, Plus 4 yesterday, All the same message. All a prerecorded robot voice saying something about Apple Support and directing me to call this number. This is harrassment, And I'm under enough anxiety and stress without them calling almost every 20 minutes to interrupt me.
Why can't someone get 3152328257 disconnected?? It's a scam and they are harassing me several times a day. Yes, They are using all different numbers to get you to pick up, But this is the number they want you to call to work you over and try to get your info. I know, They'll probably just get another number to use, But at least they'll be inconvenienced!
Gotten at least 13 calls now in a matter of couple hours. As others have said they are relentless and keep calling every 10 minutes under spoof number and Bangladesh numbers. I'm on dnc list. I keep blocking numbers but we all know that's useless with each number being different. I wish I could turn of voicemail for today. But don't know if that's an option. Scammers. And harassment. Wish I could report for harassment at this point...
I have received calls so many times a day for the last three day I have added to my Spam list and reported it but sadly they can still leave a message. Telling me my apple icloud has been breached and call 315-232-8257. My 14yr old grandson told me not to call it back cause it was a scam to get the information from your phone if you call back they some how hack your phone. So I looked the number up and found this site and posted here. I wish I knew where we could call to have them shut down so they would stop calling.
They have called me many many times in the past few days from different numbers with the same robocall message about my apple account. They try to get you to call this number back to talk to someone. I am so sick from this nonsense happening all day. Please, someone, get this number disconnected. And catch the low lives trying to scam people!! They should go to jail!! It's harassment now!!
I received 66 calls yesterday between the hours of 1:15pm and 8:59pm all from different numbers instructing me to call this number back. it is 11:15 am the next day I have now received 12 calls since 9:25am. I have blocked EVERY SINGLE NUMBER that has come in. I even got to the point, After ignoring them did not work, Of pressing 1 to talk to someone and tell them to stop and that I know they do not work for apple. The man on the line proceeded to say he wanted to 'XXXXX my b**bs'. s
13 calls between 1:43pm and 4:33pm on February 11, 2021. Each call from a different phone number with the same recorded message : 'Press 1 to connect Apple Support Advisor. Press 2 if you wish to call us later. Please call 315-232-8257.'All 13 calls are from area code 269 with a 323 prefix. The last 4 numbers are different for each call. I have no Apple products and never have. I never requested support for Apple services. I obviously don't need 13 calls in 3 hours from them.
Olivia from apple support calling about a breach on my device. My caller id on my phone shows a local internet based phone number for about five of my calls the last two i got today is from Bangladesh. With one from an unknown number.
After the fourth call in 10 minutes I answered and feigned terror at the thought of my apple account breach and thanked them profusely for catching the problem. Then I kept the guy from ??? On my time wasting mission for atleast fifteen minutes giving him fake information about my MAC which of course did not work or connect him to anything. When he asked my name I said Doofus Dinkeldorfer and he proceeded to call me Doofus for the rest of the call. At the end I said look up Doofus in an english dictionary and find your picture. Clink...he finally hung up....
I was called about twenty times yesterday from different numbers using the same area code and prefix as my home phone, Obviously spoofed. All the messages were some sort of Apple support scam. I tried calling this number, Since it was mentioned in the recording, And there's a recording saying this number was being used for spam calls and that the calls were not made from this number. Well, No kidding. The problem is, How to block EVERYTHING FROM MY SAME AREA CODE AND PREFIX?
Call every 10 minutes local area code and prefix, over 20 times, then random names would come up. Richard Smith, faith turner and so on. All leaving same message to call them back. Does no good to block they just use different number. I am on do not call list, does not help. After blocking 25 numbers I give up. This was all in one day. When ya call and tell them not to call they hang up on ya. How can this continue to happen? Feel like I am being stalked. I am reporting this 315 number to federal trade commission.
Have received over 25 calls from various numbers requesting a call back to this number. Filled up my VM. I called the number requesting a stop to these calls. I was hung up on. So annoying & I don't have Apple or I-cloud.
This is a scam call. It will appear to be from a local number, but it isn't. They are merely spoofing a local number so it will not do any good to block it. This same scam with the same call back number has been going on for at least 2 years if you look back on the older entries on this site. They want you to call back and then they impersonate an Apple help desk and ask you to let them control your computer remotely. They are after your money. You can watch several videos on YouTube to see how they conduct the scam. They are calling on my land line right now. They filled up my voice mail so i have cleared it and shut off my voicemail. I'll check back tomorrow to see if they're still calling. From previous entries at this site sometimes they go on for three days. Just ignore them and don't block the numbers because that local number is not the number they're really calling from. It's annoying to say the least.
15 calls between 7 and 8:00 this morning all directing to call about Apple iCloud breach. I don't own any Apple products! I screen every call and obviously won't call back. So far the calls are from 866, 913, And 215 area codes.
Received numerous calls from Olivia - message that my iCloud account has been breached - referred to Apple support at (315) 232-8257. Messages left on answering machine if landline number. Very annoying, Harassing.
I get an average of 30 calls a day from spoofed numbers leaving a message to call this number cause my apple account has been hacked. I know the calls are spoofed because they have the same area code and prefix as my phone.
They have called 3 to 4 times a day from different local numbers with the same message and return number. They have spoofed this number and it is now blocked! They will spoof local cell numbers also!! I have received approx 80 calls in 3 days! If I could find them they would regret it!!!!!
Call comes up with the first three numbers of your phone number and then if you answer its an automated message saying they need to service your Apple account regarding iCloud. Funny I don't have any apple products
Claim to be Apple Support - total scam. They call multiple times (8 in 3 hours) and leave a message that my Apple devices have been compromised. Since I don't use my Apple devices, I know this is a scam. I did press one just to tell them I knew it was a scam and they hung up on me.
I have 2 robocall/scam filter apps on my phone and they still call me none stop. My phone number is on the DNC list! I hope whoever owns this company spends every single penny he made doing this on his kids and grandkids' cancer treatment!!!
I got 2 messages (8:15 & 8:20 PM) about my Icloud account being compromised. Lol....especially since I don't own any apple products. Idiots! Phishing scam....do not give them any information if you do have an icloud acct!
More than 35 calls from various numbers in quick succession some with a local prefix, Some out of state, Some out of country, Some restricted, All claiming to be with apple support and all asking that I call this number.
Caller I D says '800 Service' - the message rings in every 10 minutes. They say I have my Apple iCloud account hacked. Press 1 to talk to support or call their 'no charge' 315 232-8257 number for 'Apple Support' Total Spam!
Received 6 calls (so far) over the course of an hour, Purportedly from different numbers in the same area code/office code as my number. Fragment of message left, The longest being, “... One to connect with Apple Support advisor, Press two to listen to this message again, Or if you wish to contact us later, Please callus on our too-free number, 315-232-8257.” Of course, 315 is not a toll-free area code.
Received eight calls on our answering machine! All had the same last half of message saying to call 315-232-XXXX. Each call showed a different number in ID, Some very local personal names and numbers. One said the call was from US Postal Service! I believe that would make this call a federal crime!
Received 22 Scam call for two days now on a land line. Scammers say they are from apple support. The caller ID number had my prefix, Tbut he last 4-digits were always different. The caller ID name was my local city name, But about a third were unknown names. The phone companies have the technology to do away with the number and name spoofing, But won't because of profit and the clowns up in Washington (both sides) are too busy fighting amongst themselves.
I received 6 calls within a half hour all with the same robo call message stating 'Your ICloud Account has been breached, Before using any Apple devices call: 315-232-8257'. This is a BIG XXXXX SCAM! Look out and don't fall for their BS.
My voicemail recorded this: Your iCloud account has been breached. Before using any Apple device, Please contact Apple support advisor. Press one to connect with Apple Support advisor, Press two to listen to this message again, Or if you wish to contact us later, Please callus on our too-free number, 315-232-8257.
Calls 8 or 9 times a day on my work number. They’re spoofing the caller ID to make it appear like a local number. Tried blocking them but the spoofed number keeps changing. They leave an automated voicemail asking me to call their “toll free” number 315-232-8257.
