Got this call today. Just 10 minutes ago. Instantly sent to block list on my CELL phone. So tired of creditors trying to collect on debt that isn't even on my credit report anymore. I know, because I just got all three in the mail in the past couple of weeks. I know who my debt is to, and I know what is real and what is not.I feel creditors never have the decency to keep themselves honest. Instead of actually collecting debt via the proper legal channels themselves, they sell their debt to someone else; and then AGAIN to someone else, which creates these bottom feeding companies with no actual working ethics, no obligation to follow the law (well they are obligated, but never get reprimanded or fined); just people to call and consistently harass you, hoping one day you'll give in and pay...

I don't owe anything to whoever these people are, and if I do, it's probably your fault.

MCM is sure lucky to have a friend like you ratting out people who may not owe a nickel or cannot legally be sued, despite what MCM claims. They know they can count on your vengeful streak whenever they need intelligence on someone whose location was probably known to them from the beginning, which would not surprise me at all.

This is the third number that has called my house in past 30 days from Midland. About 14 total calls. First two numbers from AZ, now they which to MN. I tried to tell these foreigners that have working for them that I live Florida. It is forbidden by law for a debt collector, even if it is legit, to call anyone on their cell phone. They face a $1500 fine for each call, but they seem not to care. It is getting close to lawyer time, but I want to let them run it up.....maybe I can get a newer car....

This number called me at 9:03 am on SUNDAY 3/19/17. I'm seeing online that it is Midland Account Management, a debt collector. I just called back and confirmed that information. Aren't Sunday morning calls harassment?

Answered cause I was tired of them calling. Collections wanting to talk to me about my Capital One Credit Card. I have no Capital One Credit card and told them so. Seemed to throw him off is spiel. I assume he was going to ask me to make a payment on a card I don't have. I hung up. They have not called back.

The FDCPA has nothing like a 'Sunday blue law' against any collection contact. You would need your state law for a prohibition, which to my recall is rare or nonexistent.As to 'harassment', you won't have that claim until MCM ignores your demand to stop calling, or it's quite obvious that a hailstorm of calls was generated deliberately.

DCA calls to mobile devices are not illegal in all times and ways. MCM can have a rep manually dial alleged debtors, rare as that is, and incur no liability. MCM can autodial and/or deliver canned messages with the consumer's prior express consent, which is generally obtained by a creditor before a single transaction occurs. Precisely what creates that consent has yet to find agreement among all court circuits, and they rely on previous FCC orders which are somewhat in conflict with the Congressional intent of the statute.If you want to lawyer up, you'd best be ready to clearly demonstrate the agency's lack of express consent. Also understand that your potential damage award, and not 'fine', is properly calculated at $500 per violation, not 'per call'. You don't get $1500 without clearing the 'knowing and willful' hurdle. Lotsa room for 'plausible deniability' in these disputes, which kills TCPA claims all the time. Caution: Your Results May Vary.

Big delay. After I said hello several times, I heard a lot of background noise. Appeared to be a call center. Then a woman began speaking, but I could not understand what she was saying. Asking to repeat several times, she then hung up on me.

Get calls from these clowns about 3 times a day.They never leave a message. I have blocked his number several times on my phone but they still get through. 👎

They have been calling, calling, calling from 'local' numbers for months. They change the number they call me from daily. I downloaded and installed a very good call blocking app yesterday, and now today they are trying from about every number they have. Did not know who it was until they tried from their main number. Allegedly a legitimate bill collector with a VERY illegitimate reputation. I don't owe anybody any money, so they can get lost.

You spent a ton of time here posting over and over, too bad you didn't take the time to learn how to deal with these people.You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or 'not me' letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. Got a call from this number. She asked for my ex-husband. I told her I haven't spoke to him in close to 2 years, and have no want or need to speak to him. Gladly gave a number for him, at least the last one I knew of. She said she would put my number as a wrong number. If it's a debt collector, or something to do with his credit, it doesn't surprise me at all.
