call every day-- has an accent..

They want to send a 'nurse' for a home visit, which I do not need nor want. They are relentless, and change call numbers as fast as I block them. The company making the calls is Global Crossings, Inc., in Maryland.

I had one of their housecalls, and it was very helpful. A registered nurse, as qualified as any in my PCP's office, did simple screenings, and gave me results to take to my PCP office for followup. This in no way replaced or was meant to replace a PCP visit. In fact, it was to ENCOURAGE me to visit the PCP, schedule a colonoscopy, mammogram, etc.

Scammers call non-stop representing UHC. Insurance company wants to make home visits to clients in order to reduce medical costs associated with REAL DOCTOR visits. Tried to tell them we prefer physicians who graduate from medical school to discuss our medical issues. Their ONLY JOB is to COLLECT my PREMIUMS and PAY the CLAIMS submitted by REAL DOCTORS - otherwise, STAY OUT of my life and affairs.

I get calls frequently from 443-492-5674.Is this a Scam call of for real from UHC?

United Health Care Home Care. They keep calling and want my dad to set up an in home visit. Not sure if this is a scam or not but they asked him what kind of cell phone he is using. He said an iPhone then they wanted to know which on 6, 7, 8 or newer... What does the kind of cell phone he is using have to do with his home health visit??? He told them no and hung up. I’m assuming this is a scam.
