called today about VISA transfer. accent was so bad and limited knowledge of English. obvious scam call from Alberta Canada. Why are RCMP not investigating this phone#.

Got a call at 8:30 AM today saying that I got a $600 charge for Western Union to my visa and I asked which one and they said it was TD Bank. I think I got scammed! 😩

Call came before 8:00 am.I looked at the number 780 357-0136, didn't recognize it and didn't answer the call. I am concerned because just last week I received a call from a number where apparently the long distance call is charged to the receiver of the call and not the caller. This caller was calling about purchases on my VISA and knew my full name. I said that I would call my bank.

Received call from this number at 7:00 am asking for me by my correct name. Lady said she was calling for authorization on a $600.00 recent purchase on my visa. She then asked me if I did indeed make such a purchase. I told her it was too early and I would look into it and call back. She hung up pretty quickly. I think they're targeting seniors who are vulnerable

3 calls in 10 min saying western union blah blah..a**holes 620 am and elder Dad said too early call later..tried to call banks worried him..effers id like to knock these pricks out scamming elders especially.

I just received this phone call ...I questioned him ...he became upset with me and hung up ....I then looked up the number ...and found that it’s working out of Alberta ... I simply can’t understand why visa , western union and the RCMP are not shutting this scam down ! It’s extreamly disappointing to know that this continues to happen right here in our country when these numbers are traceable !

We received a call at 7:00 am from a male claiming that $ 600.00 have been charged to our credit card . The males accent was oriental or from Asia . I said that I will call the police and he hung up on me . The RCMP should be on top of this scam and do everything to stop these criminals .

Received a call from an Asian woman at 6:34 AM today asking if we made a purchase of $600 on our credit card. Said, No, and hung up.

Just received a call from a man who could hardly speak English. Was clearly calling from some sort of call center based on the amount of noise and voices in the back ground. Said he was from Visa security and felt my card may have been used fraudulently to send $600 through Western Union. He wanted me to confirm I had my card in my possession and then asked me to confirm the Visa card number. When I said no...he hung up on me. Total scam.

Did not answer. Unknown phone number to me so I checked on good. Says Western Union Scam.

Like above, they indicated they were from RBC saying I had made a $600 charge and they were concerned that it was fraud. They asked for the full card number. Of course I refused and they hung up immediately. Have called my bank to confirm the existence of the $600 charge and it does not exist. This is a fraud to get information. Be careful!
