Calls everyday after 2 rings call stops

got this call yesterday. said to be from Metcredit about outstanding debt. the caller was incredibly persistent

Calling for someone who used to have my number it's a collection agency

GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ALMOST EVERYDAY AND WHENEVER THE CALL IS TAKEN NO ONE TALKS. ITS ANNOYING AND DISGUSTING. AND IT SHOWS AS AN UNKNOWN NUMBER, NOT ANY COMPANY/ PERSON NAME. STRICT ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AGAINST SUCH SCAMMERS.

Calls all hours of the day. Asking for someone I've never heard of. When I told them they have the wrong number they said that this is the only number they have on file and they would take it off the list. That was a month ago and I have still been receiving calls twice or more a day. I blocked there number and they just call from either a private number or a different number now.

They have called here looking for wrong person..keep telling them that nobody lives here by name given, but they seem to refuse to remove number.

My mother is receiving harassing calls from this number . They are asking for my deceased father. This is becoming very stressful for my mother. She has nothing to do with any debts.

This number has continued to call me thinking I am someone that I am not. I have tried multiple times in the past to resolve this issue but they will stop for a month and then resume calling nearly every day.

Why do I get a call from these guys?
