I have been receiving constant calls from this number claiming to be the Human Society on caller ID

I love supporting the ASPCA, but I hate getting their daily calls and they don't leave voicemails. Highly annoying!

Keeps calling every day

Each day and each evening the caller from the number (818) 806-0397 has called; we've blocked the number but the caller STILL CALLS even though only one ring was registered. We're not happy to be alerted to the call only to find it to be AN UNSOLICITED CALL!

They keep calling and hang up when my answering machine picks up the call. Never leave a message. Hang up the several times I picked up the phone before my answering machine. Seems more like harassment than anything.

I have been getting calls from this # about every day.I have blocked itwonder if there is a way to call them back every day when they are sleeping or eating or doing something important

Claimed to be from the Human Rights Campaign. The guy who called thanked me for being one of their supporters. I said I'm not one of your supporters and asked how they got my number. The guy said it must have been something I signed up for. Every time I tried to talk, he interrupted me and said 'I'm talking to you now.' At that point, I hung up.

Claims to be collecting for the animals, refused to give me the parent company's name so i can check the 'administrative costs'. Calls past 9 pm and over the weekend.

No one who knows me calls me this late at night. What a dumbass biz.

This number calls often. Caller IDshows 'Humane Society'.I stopped answering.I've donated to them in the past but always thru the mail when they sent a request. When their mail began coming too often, I didn't even open.It's too bad that this is how they're going about their business.I suggest donations stop.

It is not really the Humane Society. It also goes by ASPA, GreenPeace, PFAW, People for the American Way, etc. Its a scam call that is caught by my robocaller service. Don't stop donating to the Human Society please.

Have recently gotten at least three spoofed/ junk calls from this caller (yesterday's call was from: 'DONOR SERVICES' at 661-476-3044). Didn't answer any of them (I NEVER answer calls from unfamiliar numbers). And we blocked this number on the first call.

We never answer unknown calls - home, office or cell and we never call the number back. No message left and CID read Sun Valley, CA. Have now blocked all future 818 806 calls.

After calling several afternoons this month, they are now calling and awakening me at 1:30 in the morning.

This number goes by ASPCA, Greenpeace, People for the American Way, etc. It is posing as various socially concious or liberal groups for whatever reason. It is blocked by my robocaller service. I wouldn't answer.

CID just said California. It's not Greenpeace or ASPCA. I'm a Greenpeace and ASPCA supporter, and this is not a number they've used.Whoever it is, they're blocked.

Whenever I get unfamiliar calls I assume it is a garbage robocall and it was. I usually answer without saying anything; a real person will start talking or leave a message but when I get silence and no message I know it is a junk call.

Gotten calls from this number for a while now. Early morning to late afternoon. The few times I did actually pick up...no one there. It's starting to really make me mad. I have an older phone and can not block numbers on it.

The speaker asked for me by name. I answered and spoke with a fake language. At one point he took a fake word I used, something like 'brogato', and asked, 'Is this Mr Brogato?' So he was a diligent cuss but I just kept faking strange words until he finally acknowledged that he must have the wrong number and hung up. It was fun!I usually just add them to my blacklist which runs in a free program on a Raspberry Pi $35 computer with a $17 Arian fax modem connected to my landline.

Call my cell phone almost daily using this number and (323) 325-9122. Both numbers come up as Los Angeles CA. I never answer and they never leave a message. I have heard that robocallers often use donation type organizations like St. Jude and ASPCA as a front, hoping the person will answer the call.

I picked up, not realizing this was a continuation of another robo-call I've been getting. This one's from Greenpeace, and they come on the line as soon as you do and give you their pitch.

All on my VM: A robot called first leaving a message saying they were calling from Donor Services Group, then a live woman on my VM asking for my name incorrectly a few times, then she hung up. I keep blocking these calls from the and other charities but they are relentless. I will donate to the organization who doesn't keep calling in principle.

Been getting calls from this number, when I answer, no body is there. They continue to keep calling. When I answer after I miss the call, they say, in an automated voice, 'Thank you for your past support.' No idea what it is talking about. Won't leave me alone

Today is the fourth time this number has called me since December 23, 2019. I don't pick up as I don't know who it is. No voicemail.

ACLU comes up. Calls come in daily. I have complained to the ACLU, thinking that it was actually the ACLU. May have given them a cc number once. Now realize that it was not the ACLU.

According to the REAL American Humane Society, the REAL Greenpeace USA, the REAL People for the American Way, & the REAL American Civil Liberties Union, this UNKNOWN silent call which provides the initials for these names on this UNKNOWN number as it's named 'Potential SPAM' is 100% WRONG to make these phony number's games silent calls like this get forwarded to us ILLEGALLY!

Calls all times of the day. We received a call at 9:15 AM - that means they're calling at 6:15? From California? I don't believe that. I think it's a scam. And they never leave a message. I refuse to answer.

Fast talking, defensive, but clearly American English, made it sound plausible. Googling Nichols group, the results showed numerous scams. Heather was very defensive when I mentioned I thought it was a scam. (CLUE)Heather Lawson from the Nichols Group 818-806-0441 was her direct line. The first call was no caller id and was an auto dialer and human voicemail message to call Lisa Colins at 888-996-3632 which google showed as Jackson Hewitt. (CLUE)

Received a call from 818-806-0397, Caller-I.D. showing only 'ASPCA'. Any caller not on my whitelist of known contacts is automatically blocked and logged.In response to some of the earlier comments, the caller is using a spoofed number. The caller isn't Greenpeace OR the ASPCA, and they aren't likely based in the '818' area code, either. The scammer is using whatever phone number and company/location that they want you to see on your Caller-I.D. display. Their purpose is to obtain whatever personal information they can get from you.

I don’t accept calls from unknown numbers. If they leave a number, fine. If not, I block it. Consider his blocked.

Call came in, but my upstairs phone doesn't have CID, so I let it go to VM -- if it was a friend, they'd leave a msg. Blocked now...other sites say it is virulent robocall....so this number is now blocked!

My caller ID showed IT was a call from the Smithsonian and I believed them but when I asked for a confirmación number, she told me they didn't do that but they were going to send me an email I called the Smithsonian and they told me they didn't recognize that number and that they don't call members to renew their subscriptions. We called our band and they haven't charged anything yet. I was stupid enough to fall in the trap because the caller ID indicated it was the Smithsonian

They keep calling at the certain time everyday. I don’t normally answer unknown numbers but today I Got frustrated so I just answered that phone call and nobody replied and nobody talked actually so I just blocked the number.
