I have gotten several of these supposed 'Citibank' calls in the last week. I don't pick up my phone anymore because of all the nuisance calls we get, nor did I pick up this one. However, I must say that although suspicious, this one had me wondering about its legitimacy. They had my son's name, including his middle initial. He does have a Best Buy account, and they also gave a website address that sounded official, but I'm always suspicious of these types of calls. He doesn't live with us anymore and I didnt want to bother him with what sounded like a possible solicitation. Finally, after several of these lengthy calls, I remembered to look up the number here on 800notes. After seeing the other remarks here, I now definitively know this is a SCAM! PEOPLE...PLEASE DON'T CALL ANY PHONE NUMBERS or USE ANY SITE LINKS or CODES OF ANY TYPE given through unsolicited calls, texts, emails, or regular mail! ALWAYS do a little background work first like calling a legitimate number such as the one on the back of your credit/debit card or your direct bank branch phone number and/or by using sites like this one!THANK YOU 800notes for this service! I appreciate that this service is cut and dried...succinct, easy to use, and FREE! You don't try to play games and make us pay for info like most of the other sites do! Your site is a blessing to all of us who use it! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
