They keep calling for my 90 year old grandfather and being nasty to him about a debt that was already paid. He is in very poor health and getting him angry could cause him to have another heart attack. We asked them to stop and they are very rude and keep calling.

Person called another division of the company that I work for and asked for me. Jerks!

She is calling all different extension within my company and keeps asking for different employees. Has a heavy oriental accent. Will not tell us what she is calling about. Has mentioned Spectrum and then another call said personal matter. She has also given us two names for herself - Jeromy and Carol, BTW when asked to spell her own name, she struggles to - with Carol I could hear her moving papers and then she could spell it.

Lady named Party Davidson at 877-366-1642 Ext 65227 called for my daughter. Told her she was at work. I took Pattys number and extension (above) and told her I would have daughter call her back. Then looking up number online found all the complaints filed for it.

Two calls same day. Left no message.

I had been receiving this kind of phone calls since last week they say they are a collection agency and that my account from capital one car loan was past due and that my case and account was transfer to them and that they were trying to get a payment before they posses my car be super careful because capital one actually called me and said they were not aware of any information being transfer I don’t know what is happening it looks like it’s a scam be carefull

Said his name was 'Shane Morgan' with a thick Indian accent. I've been getting calls the last few days but I don't talk to them. I just hang up after they give their initial talk. I have 0 debt, so this is purely a scam, and a creative one.

Re 877-366-1642. They've called my home phone in SC two nights in a row from two different phone numbers and left a message, but did not ask for any person in particular. A lady with a pleasant-sounding voice claims this is an attempt to collect a debt, but we have no debt and have very good credit. Both nights she left the same exact message. Says she works for Midland Credit Management. I think it is a scam. Another website posts reports of people returning their calls who say there is no way to get to the extension number left and the person that answers starts demanding your social security number before they can transfer you to the person that called you originally! I'm not returning any calls from them. If they believe they have a legitimate issue, let them send me a letter and validate the debt. No one in my family has any outstanding debt.

Just got a call from this number. Foreign accent guy said his name was Jason. Desperately wanted me to make a payment on a card that supposedly went to collections but my husband says hes been making the payments. He tried keeping on the phone to make a payment. Started talking about his family situation and all the Bill's he pays so he understood how we might have gotten behind blah, blah, blah. Seemed very irritated that I wouldn't pay. Pretty sure it's a scam. Be careful.

Called from an unknown number and said the call was being recorded. They knew my name and my father's name but they thought I was his wife. They then asked for his number and when I refused and asked questioned they said it was for a 'personal matter' and gave me this callback number. Definitely a scam.

I got a call in Spanish ( I speak Spanish ) fromMCM she was very kind and she seemed to care. . She knew my address but she didn’t asked me for personal information other than my credit card number to set payments on an old credit card account I still need to pay off. I called MCM ( Midland Credit ) they told me that my account is in the legal department. After they transferred me to that department, they told me they don’t have any records of any call made to me.I cancelled my credit card. These people are very good at what they do. At times, it seems like they can read my mind.

I asked who was calling and she refused to answer. I'm not going to give my name unless I know who is calling me. Eventually she gave me a callback number and I came here.

Called looking for a fellow employee, would only give her name as Ivy but refused adamantly to give a company name. Told me the call would be recorded. Gave phone number with the ext. of 21070Tried calling it just for kicks, and didn't even have the option to enter the extension number. First thing they asked for was my full name, date of birth and social security number. Who do they think is dumb enough to fall for this?

I been impacting by COVID and they been harassing me no consideration

'No Caller ID' and 'Unknown' on the phone, no phone number shown when calling our office line. I answered and they asked for the owner. Gave me this number as a call back with an extension and only would identify themselves as 'MCM'. I suspect it's 'Midland Credit Management', a debt collection agency. If it is, isn't it illegal for them to not have a number on the caller ID?

They're scammers at it's fullest they only want money ! Beware!!!!

I told them I that I don’t know this guy and I was just continuing the conversation and the guy ended up asking me for my ss number for “verification”. They are really consistent about calling even though told them not to call me again

They call as unknown...it's Midland Credit...hard to understand the person talking due to lack of english speaking skills...but said his name was Hank. HA!

Person of obvious Indian (Far East) decent called and asked for a employee that wasn't in. Told me his name was Pete Johnson (yeah, right!). Said he was from MCM and told me to give the employee the message. I asked him what type of company MCM was. His reply was, 'I am instructed not to give out that information'. I told him, 'in that case NEVER call this number again!', and hung up.If it is a collection agency, they are required to at least tell you that much. I have a strict policy that employees are not to bothered at work with such calls. I have blocked this number from my business phone.

Called for a teacher on our campus. Took a message from a gentleman with a foreign accent, named 'Shane Morgan'.....I highly doubt that, but anyway, said he was from MCM and gave me this number with Ext 68653 to call. Told me to tell the teacher that he would be waiting for his call before 7:30. Yeah, ok.
