I have had numerous calls from this #. I just called it back to confirm my suspision; it's a phone-a-thon (asking for $$ each season) for CO State University. I left a messgae asking them to remove my number. We'll see.

Saw the caller ID and realized it was a Fort Collins number...as a graduating senior from CSU, I take everybody's word that it is the university asking for donations! Thanks for your help all.

I checked in with the business office at the Vet Teaching Hospital two chemo treatments ago and told them what was going on. One woman said she thought she knew who was calling, took my phone number and would tell them to stop. Since then, I've only had two calls this week which is MUCH better than the 4 or 5 per week going on before that. But now it seems we're back into the rotation...Going back Monday for another chemo treatment so I'll stop in the office and tell them the calls have started again. I LOVE paying CSU to take care of my little boy who is doing great with the care and treatment we're getting there. Everyone at the Teaching Hospital is awesome and although I'm a CU Grad School Alum I'm thinking I'll be singing the CSU fight song next CU/CSU game. Given that - STOP CALLING ME TO BEG FOR MORE MONEY!!!!

Working at the Phon-a-thon I can assure you all that if you say 'Please put me on your no-call list' or 'Please remove my name from your list' that your name will be taken off. Answering the phone and saying 'Not interested' and promptly hanging up will not get your name removed, as the student callers cannot verify it is the prospect with whom they are speaking. I'm a CSU graduate and have generally a good attitude toward them, but these solicitations are frequent and endless. Time to slow down here....what with all the other non-profits that are hurting so badly and benefit more directly those who are really hurting, like maybe starving kids.

i've been getting these calls too--i don't generally answer the phone if the call is from an unrecognized number, but this post confirms my suspicions that these calls are from CSU. just a note--please be polite with the kids on the other end of the line if you do answer. i worked for the alumni association making these types of calls in college because i couldn't find any other job over the summer, and it was very unpleasant. just say no thanks, please put me on your do not call list.

I get repeated calls from this number despite calling them repeatedly to 'lay off'. I'm in Michigan and don't appreciate the daily calls. When I pick up the phone noone is there, but it clearly is marked CSU on Caller ID

Just graduated in December still haven't found a 'real' job and can't afford to donate... told them that still get asked every few weeks. They start out by saying they are just updating your information which leads right into would you be interested in donating at this time. If they are calling your cell phone just add them to the auto block list.
