After receiving several calls from an Indian sounding man saying he was from BT and that they were going to cut off my internet because of security issues, I became slightly concerned. I told him that I never dealt directly with unsolicited callers, and that I would look into the matter myself; at which point he slammed down his phone! Later I spotted this website and was reassured by the other comments that the calls were a hoax. I have now blocked this number.

I just keep blocking it but they appear to add another end number each time so it keeps coming through. They are on the wrong hop straight away as I am not a BT customer so the call is irrelevant but nevertheless a dratted nuisance. I recognise the calls now so just don't answer then I block them. I won't get tired of blocking so they are wasting their time.

Phoned twice within a few minutes. First time claimed to be from callblockers. I told the lady I was not interested and put phone down. 2nd time I put phone down immediately.

Have received several calls from this number. Always Asian men who are abusive when I tell them I am not with BT and believe this is a scam.

Two calls within 5 minutes of each other. They claim to be from BT so I told the first caller that as I'm not a BT customer I was aware that they are trying to scam me. Second call was from a man who just wanted to abuse me.

Indian man called on a very bad and crackling line from a call centre claiming to be BT customer services. I confronted the man and explained that I didn't believe he was from BT and that if he called again I would report him. He then said Go **** yourself you mother ******!! What a nice person. I have reported the line to the TPS.

Scam caller reporting to be from bt. Told me I had security issues with my computer and other devices. I put the phone down but they rang back an hour later. I didn’t answer.
