Rings at least twice a day and hangs up ...i do not ring back !!

Had number of calls when I answer it clicks off. When I dial 1471recorded message says it's NHS Teaching Hospitals Hull, don't do anything they will ring back in 24 hours. Though at first it was in connection with 2nd Covid jab but became suspicious & son suggested Google number & Hey presto it is a scam! Can nothing be done to stop this?

This number called saying hospital trust hung up wen I answered them.

Several calls a day. Seems like calling back takes money off me to the company.Is such fraud allowed without legal action and penalties? If so, why?

have rang at least 3times a day,dont leave message same thing as others when call back,just ignore it now,had at least 20 of them

Have had a barrage of calls from this number over the last three days. When I answered the number registered on my phone as if I had called it. I suspect it is some sort of money raising scam. Don't answer your phone to this number and definitely don't ring back!

Keep getting calls from this number. When I answer it goes dead. I rang back and a recorded message says it is the hospital trying to get in touch with me. Rang the hospital and they said it was a fraud call.

This is the East Yorkshire NHS trust automated appointment reminder service.

Called tonight, not expecting a landline call and we are supposed to be ex directory, found the number via 1471 and looked it up on this website. We are in East Yorkshire but have no current appointments with local hospitals.

Got several calls from this number but when I answered the phone went dead. 1471'd it and recorded message saying it was Hull University Teaching Hospitals and not to do anything they would ring back in 24 hours. My husband had an appointment so rang his clinic direct and they advised this was not of their numbers. Total scam

This is Hull Royal Infirmary. They called a couple of times but for some reason it got cut off. On the 3rd time they asked for my date of birth. I deliberately put it in wrong, and it said it did not match. Put in my correct date and birth it then asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment. by pressing a key. Id din't so still have my appointment.Don't know why it cut off first time but its defiantly not a scam.

Calls but no one on the other end of the phone when I answer. Wish I could block them on my landline.

SCAM do not answer this call or ring them back. It says it is a hospital trust but it isn't. If you are worried that it is about a hospital appointment you have just ring the hospital direct yourself and check do not ring this number.

They said they would ring in 24 hours but didn't. I was worried in case my appointment had been cancelled or changed.
