I am with Post Office for broadband and phone. My telephone number is ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service (http://www.tpsonline.org.uk) yet I keep getting calls from this number. Another one today while I was out and no message left on answering service.

Again at 7.45am today, another call! I'm getting at least 2 calls a day. I'm not answering now but their claim is that they are BT Open Reach. Like others, I also get my phone and broadband from the Post Office AND I'm exdirectory.........this has been going on all November.

This number has rang our landline for the past two mornings, at 8:15 am. When I answered yesterday there was nobody there and they hung up, then today I kept saying hello and then an automated female voice said goodbye and hung up again. Nothing but a nuisance when you're trying to get ready for work and the school run!!!

This caller with Indian accent keeps ringing me. I told him i was not with BT but he said the router speed was the issue and he could help me. I then told him i did not have a laptop or computer only tablet. He then tried to get me to get onto my tablet. Very strange but he is a scammer. This is 4 times he has called me now even though i am not with BT

They called today around 15.30....usual guff about BT Open Reach, slow internet, copper wires faulty,router problems.Told them to....,,,off !! Stated they will call tomorrow at 10am.

SCAM - caller falsely claiming to be BT, says problem with router, wants to get onto your computer, likely infect it and possibly charge.

Had this number today, a very Indian sounding chap called Gary! Very hard to understand what he was up to, I usually just hang up! But long story short, claimed to be from BT and reported we had broadband faults (no surprise there!!) Then proceeded to get us to check broadband speeds, next wanted us to download software to allow them access to our computer......erm. No bloody way....avoid at all costs....scam :(
