I just got a letter saying further steps notice? I owe £1186.67 fine, i dont know what for? Also they know. My full name, and date of birth so a little concerned about ot? Is this real or fake? Has anyone called them or tried to make a payment?

I received the same letter saying I owe £350 and that they had sent me previous letters when they haven’t. Was going to ring them to ask about it but don’t want them to scam me ? Not sure what to do!

HiI've had a letter through from Avon and Somerset compliance enforcement office - stating I owe £1422.50. I don't live in that area and haven't been in that area ever. It doesn't say what the fine is for - is this a scam (today is Saturday so. I can't get through.

this number phoned my mother saying that my son had to phone them about money he owed,they would not tell my mother why but kept on stressing that it was very important that he phone this number and pay what he owed into account number 16003384v ,this has really distressed my mother as her self & my dad are ill these people need to be reported before they scam very vunerable people lisa kavanagh

I have had many calls from this number claiming to be talk talk. I have now just received my bill and have been charged for calling this number. Which I did not! How can I prove this to talk talk

This is not a scam. I received one for £811 the letter and email addresses tally with gov.uk. I asked what it was regarding and was told it was probably a speeding fine as 6 points had been also been added to my licence. They also said not to worry too much about it as they were in the process of making an attachment to my benefits.

Had a txt message saying i haven't paid my fine....i haven't been fined for anything! Not going to ring it. The txt was from websms.

I have received a letter from HMCTS stating that I owe 490.00 and that the court has told my employer. My name has got 'Mr' and my employer's name has tipex on however it is the correct address --- Is this is scam as it also has my NI number on the letter?Please help if anyone got to the bottom of this?

Had a letter to say my partner hasn't payed his fine. And further action is going to be taken. This is a local number however all numbers to do with no at being owed court fines act don't usually start with a local area code it's usually 08 has anyone ever actually got though to this number?

Text stated I owed £150 fine. Could I send them my bank details as their system with my details wasn’t working. If I didn’t do this in 7 days I could be arrested. Haven’t a clue what they are on about.

Letter demanding £811.00 to be paid in 10 days. No prior correspondence. Sadly looks very professional and genuine. I'm convinced it's a scam - who should I phone?

I have just had a similar letter asking for £350 from Avon and Somerset Compliance enforcement office.So they are clearly still at it. The real A+S CEO is uncontactable by phone or email, probably due to others phoning up about similar letters.

Just received a voicemail from this number saying to ring number and quote ref no. 18016150c. It is urgent so ring HQ. It didnt say anything else. , we don’t owe money or have any parking fines , what should I do if they ring again as myself and wife are elderly , as it is worrying , thankyou

Called the police today as my daughter received a letter stating that she owes £350 she has never been to Avon and Somerset and does not owe any money to anyone.I spoke with the fraud officer and this is a SCAM.So please be aware of this as it has caused so much stress.

01633645112 IT IS A GENUINE HMCTS phone number. We were due a DVLA fine last year, however, by mistake, DVLA sent all the correspondence/fine letter to our previous address. We were advised to make a Statutory Declaration with regards to this matter and luckily we will pay the original fine and not the escalated amount. All the best!

Had text to say I have failed to pay my fine & further action will be taken. People must think we're stupid. I know FULL-WELL i havent been fined for anything. Take action then, go ahead & waste your time!! SCAM!!!

This is the phone number for Her Majesty's Court Services, the office is in South Wales. I am a Compensatee - i.e. I am owed money/compensation after I won a court case - and it's this office that deals with chasing up the money. These are not scam artists, I've been dealing with them for several months now...

Held on for 30 minutes. I don't know why it is called a service. It is anything but.
