They are calling from a call centre in Bangladesh. They first call on a series of fake mobile looking numbers then on this number. When I told them I 'knew' they were calling from India the caller got very defensive and told me they were calling from Bangladesh. When I said that was the same as India she got even more defensive and then hung up.

Indian sounding voice, Calling himself John, Said I had a critical illness life insurance policy and he could give me cheaper payments. Which is interesting because I don't have one of these, So quite how John got this information including my mobile number is beyond me. I'm only registered with the DWP jobsearch online, No one else has my mobile number and currently, The UK has no mobile directory as BT/Virgin maintain for landlines. Total scam.
